About Abaddon: Retribution
The sequel to the Xbox Live Indie game Abaddon, Abaddon: Retribution puts the player in the role of Tara Cole, a fighter pilot who has been assigned to pilot the support fighter of the spaceship Abaddon from the first game.
The gameplay is largely the same unaltered tower defence gameplay from the first game, in which the player, as the previously mentioned Tara Cole, must engage enemy fighters in order to help protect the Abaddon, who's weapons are damaged beyond repair and must be replaced by various weapon systems that can be brought by using Green Matter, which is obtained by defeating enemies. This Green Matter can also be used to repair the Abaddon's weapons. The more it its Repaired and upgraded, new weapons will become avaliable for use on the Abaddon.
Abaddon: Retribution also features the same co-op mode, as featured in the first game, as well as support for competitive play for eight people on four Xbox 360 consoles.
